The printing bug

At the end of 2023 I took a community class in lino printing at the local library. That smell of the ink took me right back to highschool and sixth form art classes. I promptly went out and bought a pile of kit so I could do a bit of printing over the summer. Fast forward six months, summer is long gone, and here I am in front of the fire with my first couple of test prints.

The process is a great leveller, no matter what you do, you never quite know just what the final print will come out like - well thats how it works for me doing it all by hand. And I love it!!

Lots of practice yet to go before I have something saleable, but in the mean time sit back and enjoy the ride with me.

Once again keeping things real with some images that I'm proud of because I tried, not because they're perfect. x
